After just over a year if satisfactory service my Blaze didn’t register any ascents on my walk in hilly Sheffield yesterday. Any suggestions?

Hello @davibes !It's great to see you around!
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your experience with your Blaze not tracking floors. Your device uses both an accelerometer and altimeter to track floors, and registers a floor when detecting continuous motion combined with an elevation gain of about 10 feet. Because the device looks for continuous motion, pausing when you go up can cause the device to not count a floor.
There is a variety of reasons which may affect tracking floors. Not all flights/hills are the same height or distance, so if the flight you climbed is less than 10 feet, it may be the cause. Exposure to excess moisture can also affect. We recommend that you wear your device loosely during exercise.
If the issue persists, please follow these steps to restart your device: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
Keep me posted on the outcome!
