I have been walking on the elliptical & dang it, it's not tracking my steps! I have lost at least 900 steps! & yes, I have turned off & on! This is my first electronic!

If you are holding on to the bars it will not count accurately. Also you not covering an exact distance because you are not moving forward.

Welcome to the Community @Rezdweller and @WendyB thanks for stopping by.
I appreciate the efforts in trying to fix this. In my opinion, I don't have anything else to add to our friend's post since she's right, you can take a look at the link she provided. As mentioned, since you are not actually walking you won't receive steps and if you are holding the elliptical bar, your Blaze won't be able to recognized that as steps.
If you need anything else, do not hesitate to post it.
