Blaze not resetting at midnight

I have a Fitbit blaze. I usually turn it off at night and switch back on the following morning. It used to work perfectly coming up with the correct time and steps returned to 0. After the most recent update this has stopped happening. I have even had a new Fitbit sent to me. This is still happening, is anybody else experiencing the same problem?

Don't turn it off and everything will be fine.

That is not the point, it worked fine before the most recent upgrade, I was able to turn it off at night and it would reset. Have had enough, no support from Fitbit returning to retailer for a full refund. Have found on their website that this a glitch following recent upgrades but couldn't be bothered to tell me this, only had the problem for a month.

There is no need to switch it off. If you do this you have to accept that you have to sync your device in the morning. Leave it on is the easiest thing you can do. So keep calm.

@CJGFitibit  This change did take effect after the last update, and was posted by the moderators.  You can find the post Here.

Here is the actual verbiage : Important to note: A sync is required after a manual shutdown or a battery drain in order to show the correct time on Blaze. This is especially important for your activity tracked by Blaze because you'll want to make sure it's associated with the current date and time.

If you were not told this by support, not sure why, but they did post about having to sync after a shutdown.

Hope this may help you~

I've said this before and I'll say it again:

Remember the game Interstate 76? Never get out of the car? Never turn off the Blaze. That same rule can be applied here.

I don't know why people turn it off all under the guise of "saving on the battery" where there is no anedotal evidence that exists to suggest that you can push the Blaze past the 6 day mark if you do shut it down. I have mine on all the time. At minimum, I charge it every 5 days. Max I can go for 6 days. Sometime around the 6 day mark I'd have to charge it.
