My Blaze did not reset the step count at midnight. Everything else reset just not the step count. I turned it off last night around 7pm and then turned it on again this morning at 7am. I've restarted it several times and it won't reset the steps. Any fix to this or do I just have to wait it out and see if it resets tomorrow?

Restarting the tracker may help tomorrow, but will have no affect or changes to what has previously happened. Thie data has alreasy left your tracker and is on the fitbit server.
When turning off the tracker durring night it is possible tya5 tye days step count will not be rese5 durring the change in days. This is because tye tracker is turned off and did not see the day change.
I'm not sure if the logic of why turn the tracker off at night, especially when the tracker is useless until it has synced before putting it back on?

Thanks for the suggestion I'll see what happens in the morning. As for turning it off at night, I've had my tracker for over a year and have always turned it off at night because I don't track my sleep (the watch irritates me at night when I sleep) and in the morning I just sync it when I get up. It has never happened before that the step count didn't reset so I'm not sure why it happened now. I'll see if it resets tonight, if not then it may be another problem.

Im not saying that the steps always fail to reset, im saying that many find tyat it ocaisional will. Why only once in a while im not sure.
Could it have something to do with the tracker recording activity after turning on and before the sync?

That's an interesting point, I now wonder if I turned it on and moved around before I tried syncing it this morning. Perhaps I'll leave it on all night tonight and see if it resets.
