Blaze not showing Active Mins

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
I'm not sure if I'm not setting something up properly or what, but under my "today" tab there is not an "active mins" tracker. It shows everything else but does not list them. It shows up on my phone when I sync, but I cannot view on my blaze. I'm using a Note 4, perhaps it's an Android issue. Please advise. Thanks!

Active minutes only show in the app. Would be great to see on the blaze.

I ask that because on everyimage they post its shows an active minute
counter. It shows it on the website, and even in the Blaze 101 guide. So is
it a feature to come in the future?

@NikFitBlaze as @mcrmama stated it only shows up on the dashboard/app. Fitbit calculates it using there servers/software and it's the same for everyone which is why we don't have it on the actual fitbits themselves.

Ill habe to check the Guide out, For now active minute calculations are done on the server, after the tracker has sync.

Really sloppy of Fitbit marketing to show false and misleading screenshots on website and 101 guide. Oddly the Product Guide does correctly state Active Minutes is only on the Blaze. So the most visible screenshots are wrong and misleading, while the fine print is accurate. Sigh.

Oh, I see. It does not mention it in the description but shows it in the little demo of the today app.

@NikFitBlaze thanks for pointing this out! This is actually something that we are aware of and it should be fixed in the future. For now, please note that the only tracker that shows Active Minutes on the display is Alta. @mcrmama@NikFitBlaze@bbarrera you may want to check out this Feature Request for adding adding Active Minutes to Blaze if you're interested in that.

Thanks @matt9013@Rich_Laue for the Active Minutes calculations info and for your help as always!

Thanks for the heads up that it will be added soon. Along with Idle Alerts, if its going to be added in the future then I don't see any reason to go and vote for it.

It is quite silly that they did not put it on the Blaze, yet it was on the Alta.

Hello NikFitBlaze,

It isn't just your Samsung phone because I have a PC and an Apple iphone 6

and what's happening to you is happening to me...

@bbarrera the purpose of our Feature Request board is to post ideas you want to see in our products, and if others are interested in them also, they can vote on them. This makes it easier for our developers to see what kind of things our users would like to see, but it does not guarantee that they will be implemented. I definitely recommend voting on the ideas you'd like to see implemented.

@yolo5 it is expected that Blaze does not show active minutes on the today screen. Thanks for posting your question!

I really hope it doesnt show active minutes on my blaze screen unless Fitbit fixes the Active Minutes requirements. I lift weights and do Barre classes 5 days a week and get no credit for "active mintues" on my Fitbit. Even when I log my exercise from my watch. I challenge any Fitbit developer to take Barre classes for 5 days a week and tell me they are not being "active"! Everyone knows that long term steady state cardio over weight training is detrimental to muscle gain and weight loss. So I would really like to see some other way of tracking my active minutes.

That is a good point...

Currently the active minutes on the Blaze are calculated in cloud on the server after the Blaze has synced.. Then the calculated active minutes are displayed on the app or web.

And yes we all aware that the pre-release pictures, released two months before the. Blaze was, and have not been updated show active minutes.
