Recently I have not been receiving notifications on my fitbit blaze. I decided to unpair then pair it again but now it doesn't show up on bluetooth.

Once you un-pair the Blaze, yes notifications will stop. The only way to get the Blaze paired back to you phone is by having the app do a sync. During the sync process the app will pair the Blaze.
