Blaze not syncing to app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

My Blaze is not automatically syncing with my Andriod App.  The App is set to "all day sync."  I have toggled that off and then back on.  I have restarted my phone.  I have restarted my Blaze.  It still will not automatically sync to the app - I have to open the App and sync to get it to update.

I have used many trackers - the surge, Charge, and Charge HR -- and did not encounter this issue with any of these.  I still use the Surge and it continues to automatically sync despite the Blaze's failure to do the same.

Please help!!  This is driving me crazy.  Thanks!

I just got my weekly report and found that it has not synced for the past week.  Frustrating, because it was one of my best weeks.  I do not have Bluetooth on my computer, I do have windows 10 and the wireless Dongle.  It has been doing fine, now nothing.  I have tried to start a live chat to get some help, but that link doesn't work.  I am not on Twitter, so I cannot send a direct message, My phone is messed up, so I can't call, so I am here looking for answers.  My Blaze not syncing is just the latest problem.  I have had it replaced for not counting my floors correctly, it counted me asleep one night when I was up with a sick dog most of the night, so I sure am not happy with it.  I went to trouble shooting and it said "Fitbit connect is not installed.  Look for the icon and uninstall it" -- what in the world does that mean?  I need it but should uninstall it?  Crazy, frustrating!

you need the phone synced with your fitbit, turn the fitbit off in settings then back on go to your phone and check the steps, go back and check all the steps.. I check my phone once a week so I don't loose steps anymore.Ing.

How did you hard reset? I Uninstalled and reinstalled app. Turned blaze off. Turned phone off & on. Turned bluetooth off & on. Nothing is working to sync 😕

Someone else posted on here to hold the button on the left of the watch and the lower button on the right in at the same time until it shuts off. Then restart it. I just held it until the fit bit symbol appeared and vibrated then I let go. It reset itself, then I was able to sync.

@Boo73 this thread is about sync problems, not notification problems.

With the Samsung S3, S5, and S8. I have found a restart of the phone usually gets notifications working. If not I check the Fitbit app to make sure notifications are enabled. If they are iIthen disable/enable this forces the OS to ask for permission .

Blaze will not sync

Mine wouldn’t sync to my iPhone today, no problems yesterday. Spent 20+ minutes with tech support getting it to work then 2 hrs later it’s not working again. Seems like they have a tech glitch that they don’t want to talk about.

Seems to be the same issue ever since I downloaded and updated to the latest app on my phone. I was not having the issue before then.

This issued continued, Fitbit reassured me that everything was ok. I kept
contacting them, then they said to sync though another device. So I was
using my husband but this wasn't practical. I pretty much didn't use my
Fitbit for about 9months until I changed my phone. My problem was that they
said that my phone supported Fitbit blaze but it didn't at all.
