I've followed all the advise I could find on the forums etc. I've uninstalled fitbit reinstalled it, unpaired it then paired it, I don't understand why the laptop isn't picking anything up either. Starting to get really fed up as I have recently started a challenge and have to provide evidence of steps/miles and I can't do that now. All the app is doing is spinning saying sync now but nothing happens. How can I force a sync on the laptop?

The usual things to try when you get syncing issues are:
- restart phone/laptop
- restart fitbit using this procedure: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186/
- restart fitbit a few more times (it doesn't always work)
- "forget" the fitbit in the phone's bluetooth settings
- go through fitbit's troubleshooting guide at: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1866/

Might be worth checking that the widgets are switched on. But saying that, I occasionally have to at least reboot my mobile, and watch before they will pair again
