Blaze not tracking all sleep

I have noticed that not all of my night time sleep is recorded.  If I go to bet at 10:30pm, fall asleep, and then wake up to go to the bathroom at around 1am, it only records my sleep from1am on, and totally drops the 2 hours I had before I got up.  Note that I do get up again around 4am-ish to go to the bathroom again, but it tracks that with no problem. This does not happen every night but at least once or twice a week.  Any thoughts??

It's great to welcome you @Chrissle913. Keep in mind that if you wake up and get up from bed, the Blaze will recognize that like if you are already up but you can edit this information by doing the following from a computer:

1. Log in to your Dashboard and navigate to the sleep log page: http://www.fitbit.com/sleep/
2. Using the calendar date selector, choose the date with the sleep log that you would like to edit.
3. Hover your mouse over the sleep log in question.
4. To delete the sleep record, click on the "X" that appears in the upper right hand corner.
5. To modify the start and stop times of your sleep log, click on the pen and note pad icon.

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

Your solution is perfect.  I could see that you could edit, but was not sure how the edit feature works.  It is easy once you spelled it out for me.  Thank you.  My sleep is back on track.

I don't think that editing data is the answer to not collecting data properly.  I have a new Blaze that will only log sleep after mid-night no matter when I go to bed.  It has replaced a Charge HR that had no problems logging sleep, so it seems all I'm doing by editing every morning is being a patch for a software issue.

Kayak-Yak.  Editing works for me when it happens (not often) and it sounds like you have more going on that an occasional problem.  Have you tried posting a direct question onto Fitbit about your situation?  If not, you may want to.  You may have a problem with the program in your Blaze or it may be a wider problem.  Hope this helps.

Thanks for the input, I have "talked" it over with support and it seems they only have the one solution...edit!  So, my morning routine is make a cup of coffee, sync Blaze, and edit my sleep start time...sigh
