Blaze not tracking heart rate or sleep

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I bought the Fitbit Blaze in May. It has been absolutely amazing and motivational...until this week. First I noticed it did not track my sleep for 07/28. Then when I was working out the following day it would not track my heart rate despite my cleaning it, restarting it and it being in the appropriate place (the whole reason I chose the Blaze was for exercise and accurate heart rate readings). It now is no longer tracking my heart rate at all. I am at a loss of what to do since two of the major features of this smart tracker are now completely not working.

Is your HR monitor set to Auto?  If yes try restarting and change the setting to ON, either on the watch or your fitbit app and then sync.  Also check your bluetooth to make sure the blaze is connected.   I have noticed it was not connected on mine at some point and it helped the issue.

While keeping the HR set to ON all the time it might cause the battery to drain a lot faster then normal.

I now have sleep stages for the past week.

A warm welcome to the Community @Hannah_Aileen, thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself and @Butterflywings for stopping by.

If your tracker is not registering this information, I recommend taking a look at this post, where you will be able to see some things that might be affecting the heart rate reading and some tips to improve it. Now about the sleep, I recommend restarting your tracker a couple of times more.

Keep in mind that you can always manually log your sleep by doing the following the Fitbit app:

  1. Tap the "+" icon
  2. Tap Log Sleep
  3. Enter your information
  4. Tap Save
  5. Sync

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Woman Happy
