Blaze not tracking steps or syncing well

I've had my Blaze for maybe 3 months and of course after loving my cha4ge 2 was led in to a false sense of security so I kept none of the receipts. Lately the steps have been 2000 less than usual and it takes 5+ tries to get it to even sync. I've tried resetting it and have had no improvement. Any help would be appreciated!
