Blaze not tracking steps

The Blaze does not track steps properly in my house. I walk around my house and no steps tracked. However, when I go up my stairs it immediately starts counting steps. If I hold my wrist up to see if steps are counted, no change. Screwy. When walking outside I do not notice the problem. I've had my Blaze about a month and have isolated the conditions for not tracking at this point to describe this pattern of not counting steps.

Your Blaze will only count steps based on the movement it detects. This is partly the movement of your wrist as you walk and partly the jolt of your footsteps. Could it be that you take soft steps indoors, perhaps on a very soft carpet? Or it may be that it misses steps when you are checking the count as your arm is not moving normally?
