Blaze not turning on

I turned off my Blaze at some point last night and this morning, it refuses to start back up. The screen stays dark. No indication of low battery, no life when I place it in the charger. I've had it for maybe a year (this is a replacement for a faulty one that was sent in the original order), do these things really only have a life span of a year or so? Or is there some way to fix this?

No mines coming up on 3 years now.

How are you charging it?

See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery

A warm welcome to the Community @SunsetRunner and @WendyB thanks for stopping by.

I would like to know if the instructions provided by our friend worked? Did your tracker light up? If you still having issues, I recommend restarting it by doing the following:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

Let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

It suddenly "came back to life" at some point yesterday afternoon. I looked over on the shelf and noticed that it was lit up again. I didn't really do anything at that point that would've made it come on--it just did it on its own. I charged it and am wearing it again now.

Unfortunately, in the meantime, I'd already ordered a new one--so I guess now I'll have a backup!

Those are great news @SunsetRunner.

I am glad to hear that your tracker is now working properly, you can test it while you receive the new one and if you think that it would be necessary to use the new one, you can set it up by doing the following from your Fitbit app:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

If you need anything else, do not hesitate to post it.

Happy stepping! Smiley Happy
