Blaze notifications only right after sync

I've had my blaze since about May and have always had this issue except recently it's really been bad and only works for an hour or so after sync. So my issue: I only receive notifications to my blaze after recently syncing my device manually from my app on my phone. It used to be good for about a day before I would have to resync but recently it's only been working for a couple hours after. I've also noticed that my "all day sync" doesn't really work anymore either. I have to open the app for it to sync. Yes the option for all day sync is on. I have a galaxy s7 edge. Any help?

Is always connected turned on?

All all day sync does is tell the app to try and sync once awhile.. I think the period might be once an hour, I would like it once every 3 or 6 hours. 

In any case the app needs to communicate wit the tracker slurring it's try, or it won't try again for another hoir.
