Blaze notifies 10,000 steps when I haven't reached them

This is the 4th time this week where both my phone and Blaze notify me that I hit 10,000 steps. They both show 10,000 as well. When I look at the Blaze and phone a little bit later it goes back to 9,3XX steps. Is there a solution to fix this?

A warm welcome to the Community @AnnaM1985.

Are you manually logging any type of activity like walk or running? If you are, I recommend not logging those activities since it might take you away some steps. Also, please verify that your tracker is properly syncing with your app, if you are having issues syncing, I suggest taking a look at the Having trouble syncing? post and follow the instructions provided there.

Let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

I am not manually logging my activities. I have it set to auto sync. The
syncing to my iPhone is not working well. When I first submitted this
post, my Blaze and app were showing the same numbers and then a few minutes
to hours later it would take steps away. I saw on another post to try to
reset Blaze to correct the problem. I did reset it and last night my Blaze
showed 16,675 steps which was the correct amount but when it synced to the
app, my Blaze and app showed 16,104. So it took away 500 steps. I have
looked at and completed everything said on the "trouble syncing" post and
the problems are still happening.
