Blaze only works on charger, but doesn't actually charge

I have had my Fitbit Blaze for about a year 1/2 now and never had a problem until last week.

Last week my Fitbit died unexpectedly, so I put it on a charger. the second I took it off of the charger, it died again.

Now it only works while on the charger, though it does not actually charge.

I am not able to restart it because once I remove the Fitbit from the charger, it dies.

I got it as a Christmas gift, and thus do not have the receipt details.

Is there anything that can be done here, or am I SOL and need to buy a whole new Fitbit?

A warm welcome to the Community @KylaNM. I am sorry for the delayed response.

I am sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with your Fitbit Blaze which you received as a Christmas gift. Thank you for sharing that your tracker is not charging nor turning on when removed from the charging cable. Our Support team will be glad to check your options based on your warranty, however I recommend trying to resolve the issue first by following the steps from this help article: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? You can find there the steps on how to restart the device if you would like to confirm them.

Let me know how it goes!
