Blaze only works on charging cradle

My blaze worked awesome since December,  put it on charging cradle to charge a few days ago,  and while in cradle it works,  as soon as I remove it the screen goes blank.   I've tried doing each of the recommended restarts without any response from Blaze.  While on the charger the Blaze indicates it's fully charged,  as does the app on my phone when I sync.

This exact thing happened to mine as well and I'm quite irritated that while it was replaced (out of warranty) Fitbit is acting like this is an oddity... I'm even more peeved that I was made to feel extra special to get a replacement when it seems obvious that this problem is likely common and wide spread and probably due to an update... And the kicker? I go through a process to pick a color band, etc... And then just received the Fitbit itself, all alone, in a cellophane package.. SMH..

I have just tried my blaze after a few months and am having the same issue. As soon as I remove it from its cradle it won't work. I have been able

to update it, sync it and battery is full but it just dies as soon as it is removed from cradle.

Yup. Me thinks Fitbit needs to address this issue directly.

I'm so frustrated.  I'm having the same problems.  I recently purchased a Blaze at BB&B and it would only work on the cradle.  I exchanged it today and just tried to set up the new one and it doesn't work at all.  It doesn't even turn on when in the cradle and plugged into power source.  I've had just about every Fitbit version there is, since 2013 and I have never had these problems.  I'm about ready to give up!  Any help is greatly appreciated.

My Fitbit was bought in the new year and I haven't used it in the last few months. It worked perfectly in the beginning.

Is there a fix for this issue or is it a hardware problem?  I am having the same problem with my blaze. Worked fine until yesterday/today.  I put the unit in for a charge and when I took it out it just shut off.  It will not turn outside of the cradle.  I put it in the cradle, it starts up and shows a full battery.  I open the cradle and it shuts off.  Will not respond in any way.

The excitement of using the Blaze for the first week and a half quickly changed to frustration over the fact it no longer works out of the charger.  It is obviously not an isolated problem!

@AlejandraFitbit  I am having the same problem with my Fitbit blaze. I have done a hard reset and nothing happens. It will sync when in the cradle but dies once I remove it. Please help.
