Blaze out of charge on walk

Hi all

This may be obvious but whilst on a walk my Blaze battery died.  Is there any way to retrieve the data or shall I take the blame for not charging it? 🙂

If the blaze rudely died, then it wasn't tracking your walk, so no there is no data to recover. 

However even after the display won't turn on, the tracker continues to count for 30-60 minutes.
