Blaze overheating; Won't charge

My Blaze battery died while I was biking this past week. When I got home, I put it on the charger and left it there overnight, as usual. When I went to go take it out and put it back on, there was a temperature warning on the screen. It was indeed very hot. I took it out and it hadn't charged at all.

 

I let it cool down for a few hours and tried charging it again. The same thing happened. I've left it out of the charger since then. No charge. I'm afraid to try again as it got very hot. Is it just dead? Time to move on?

Please do not charge it anymore and contact support. The Blaze is pretty old so it probably does not have a warranty. But they do offer a discount on a new one
