I have had the blaze for over a year and a half and have had this problem the entire time regardless of software updates.
As a note, I only run the HR monitor. I do not keep it connected to any device while I have it one. I do not use notifications of any kind.
The majority of time the battery lasts between 24 and 30 hours per charge. No matter how long it is charged for and no matter if I charge from an A/C wall brick or a computer USB port. There are times that I will allow the blaze to run completely out of battery for several days so that it will no longer respond. When I place it on the charger like this and let it charge for 24 hours the battery will last for around 5 days.
From my experiances it seems like that software in the Blaze that determins the battery lever is not getting an accurate reading. The only time it is getting a good reading is when the Blaze battery is drained all the way and then recharged. Fitbit should look into this and fix the software bug if thats the problem. If thats not the problem then get better at build quality.

I have terrible battery issues with mine. After letting it completely drain I charged my blaze all night. I just realized that my watch is "dead" already. I turn it on and the low battery icon is flashing. I synced it with my phone and my phone says full battery. This is my second fitbit to have battery issues. I may rethink the brand I choose for my next watch.
