Blaze query for fitbit manufactuers

I was just wondering if you have any plans to add gps to the blaze watch?

I find connected gps is very unreliable and on several occasions the gps connection has been lost and I have not able to to get them to reconnect without finishing the walk and starting a new one which is not an option when I am trying to complete a virtual race.

I have looked at the surge but I dont really like the look of it.

So before I desert fitbit and get a garmin gps watch I was wondering if there were any plans for a future blaze to have the gps in the watch itself?

Hi there @Donnamt16. Good to see you in the Forums. Welcome aboard! 🙂

At the moment, we don't have any news on any plans to have a built in GPS on the Fitbit Blaze.

Now, to be honest, I don't think this will happen anytime in the future. The Surge offers this feature as you mentioned as the Surge is a tracker more oriented for performing athletes and that's why it has it built in. Now, the Blaze is a tracker oriented for people who take physical activity seriously but are not necessarily atheltes and the trend has been to have connected GPS on the trackers lately as you can see with the Charge 2 which works the same way as the Blaze.

Hope this answers your question and keep an eye on the forums for any update on this!
