Blaze recording stairs not being climbed since last update

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
I got my blaze in July and recently updated it. Since the update it has been recording stairs that I have not climbed. Was something changed in the way it calculates stairs climbed? Prior to update it was fairly accurate, maybe missing 1 or 2 occasionally. Now I have credit for 7 and I only climbed 1. I drive the same route and the area I am not walking in any hilly areas when this occurs.

I am having the same problem...  how do I fix it?  do I need to reset to factory settings?  I've tried to hold the left and bottom right bottom for 10-12 sec, but nothing happens...  I am still getting 200+ floors a day...

Moving to the Blaze forum where you will get a better answer.

Have you done a restart at all?

Yes I have done a restart... I'm afraid to do a factory reset, I don't
want to lose all my data... so far today I have done 553 floors....

Well it had no effect but I did notice that that it occurs when I enter the office from the garage at work which happens to have a negative pressure issue (air is constantly sucked in from garage). I think I recall reading that could cause issues

@Papa66 Welcome to the Community! Thanks for sharing experience.

@quittarae Hey there! It seems weird that you're getting too many floors. I would like you to restart your tracker and keep an eye on your floors.

Additionally, you may want to check how Fitbit track your floors. posted by one of our users@MacWade

Thanks for your input @WendyB
