For about 12 hours, my Blaze was recording 1000 steps per 15min. Total steps for the day was over 100,000.

Dis it again the next day.

BY any chance @fcano do you also have Mobile Track connected to your phone?

Have you tried testarting your Blaze yet?  Swipe to Settings, tap the sxreen, scroll down to shutdown.

Also make sure your stride setting hasn't been changed to a really short stride.

Sorry @blur the stride has nothing to do with counting steps. Fitbit takes your step count and multiplys it by the stride setting to determine (guess) the distance travelled.

Ahhhh Ok thanks, I am new to FitBit so was a guess, but thanks for verifing it

Have you worn your Blaze during that time? I remember a guy who had his tracker on a table with a fish tank while sleeping and the vibrations caused a very high number of steps.

These both happened while wearing the Blaze.

Not sure what "Mobile Track" is. I don't see that anywhere in the options.

I rebooted a weak before...

Sending it back.
