Blaze records excessive steps taken when I'm driving

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Having just bought a Blaze I was wearing it when I did a ten mile journey. I was rather disturbed, and disappointed when the Blaze had recorded an extra 900 steps! Not being a Fred Flintstone I am now wondering what I can do, if anything? The calories burnt also went up too, obviously through doing the "ghost" 900 steps. Help please! Otherwise this unit is going back. Cheers!

When the ride is bumpy it will add steps. A lot of people use the DriveBit App on the phone and it will take care of the steps

A warm welcome to the Forums @supersix and @WendyB thanks for stopping by.

As mentioned by our friend, your tracker might take some steps while driving but you can negate this information by downloading the app DriveBit or by manually logging the activity driving. To manually log an activity, you just need to do the following from your Fitbit app:

1. Tap the exercise tile

2. Tap the stopwatch in the upper right corner

3. Enter the information

4. Tap Log it

I hope this helps, catch you later. Woman Happy
