Blaze registering too many floors

Apparently I traversed 35 floors today. In reality, I actually went up about 12 flights. Is there any way to re-calibrate the counting of floors?

Im sorry there is no way. It counts them if its windy or cold outside. If its Bumpy ride as well.

The same has happened to me.  Apparently I have done 75 floors at work today - which is all on the ground floor!

It's great to see you here @spikey_richie@Natlew welcome to the Forums and @WendyB thanks for stopping by.

Your Blaze may give you credit for extra floors for a variety of reasons. Occasionally, it may detect pressure changes unrelated to elevation gains, such as a gust of wind, weather change, or opening a door. Exposure to excess moisture can also result in extra floors being counted. This happens if the pathway to the altimeter on the back of your tracker becomes temporarily blocked with sweat or water.

As mentioned, there isn't an option to delete floors but you can negate them by doing the following from a computer:

  1. Log into your fitbit.com dashboard.
  2. At the top of the screen click Log > Activity.
  3. Find the data you want to negate by selecting a date range.
  4. In the activity menu, type in "Driving" and enter the duration and start time.
  5. Click Log Activity. Your steps, floors, and calories burned will decrease for the time period you specified.

I hope this helps, catch you later. Woman Happy
