I'm assuming the text and music feature works with iPhones? I know it's hard to find other smart watches other than the Apple Watch that work with iPhones.

I believe that the music controls on the Surge are quite happy with an iPhone so I see no reason that Fitbit would have taken this functionality away from the Blaze.

@CoolBama It depends on which iPhone you want to use it with. Check out the device compatibility page to see specifics.

Hi-I just received my Blaze and really love it! However, my notifications do not seem to be working. I have my Bluetooth on, I have gone through each notification and selected "On". Can you help? This is one of the main reasons I purchased the Blaze!
( Do I need to set it to "Require encryption"? & Enable Notificaion Widget?) They are on but is it necessary?
Also, how the volume controls do not seem to be working with my music.
Thank you
UPDATE: I exchanged my blaze and the third one is working well! I think fitbit did an update.

I have the same issue and I hope I can get some answers before I decide to return it! However, in my case the music controls basically works when it wants to. I often shutdown the device and power it back on along with disconnecting and then reconnecting the bluetooth in order for me to able to control the music and volume. Please HELP!

That's now what happens to my Blaze with syncing. Notifications work once
in a purple moon after powering off and on. Very disappointing

@Neffa18 the 6s is one of the newer phone's and others with the 6s have gotten music to work.
Make sure on the notification center that it is enabled.

@cammon Thanks for the update! Glad to hear the replacement Blaze is functioning as intended.
@ShannahW @Neffa18 I suggest making sure that you're on the latest version of the Fitbit App and have also followed the step-by-step instructions for Music Control setup that you can be found here.
@Neffa18 I just confirmed with my colleague that the iPhone 6s is compatible with the Blaze. We are working on getting this supported devices page updated.
