It is really frustrating because I only walked about 4 miles today/ 8,000 steps and it says that have gone about 20 miles. That is the biggest deficit I've seen yet. I want it cleared because it's messed all of my figures up in the app for the day. I've only had the blaze for about a week. Is there something wrong with it?

Unless you use your phone's GPS tracking, your fitbit calculates miles by multiplying your step count by your stride length. So, it suggests that your stride length setting is too large.

If you have manually set your strides (there are 2: one for walking, one for running) then I would review them in your profile settings at https://www.fitbit.com/user/profile/edit

If you haven't manually set them then defaults will be used based on your other profile settings e.g. height, so I would review those.

Thank you Steve!  I checked my stride length that I manually set and it showed 227 inches instead of 27 inches, lol!  I have a feeling that most of the problems people have with fitbit are simply human error!
