Blaze screen locked on thermometer for 2 weeks without a recharge

My Fitbit Blaze has had the screen locked on thermometer icon for three weeks. I tried to reset or restart by pressing and holding the left and lower right buttons. It would not reset, so I tried charging it again. Still not change, so I let it sit for two weeks and the screen is still locked on the thermometer icon. I thought the battery would run down, but the icon remains on the screen. I have numerous times to reset or restart the watch.

Maybe just dumb luck but I had the same problem today, only for about two hours.   Tried resetting as you did with no luck.

Eventually I went to the ipad and tried opening the Fitbit app while pressing the reset buttons.   It said looking for device a couple of times but eventually some combination worked. Sorry I didn't pay attention to which thing I was pressing when.
