Blaze screen unresponsive and keeps showing old text messages

My Blaze battery died while I was out all day. I accidentally got in the shower with it but took it off right away and let it dry overnight. I then charged it back to full charge. Ever since then the touch screen is either fully unresponsive or it takes 30 seconds or more to respond. I was unable to turn off my wake up alarm. The side buttons work so I’ve done a reset 5 times and no luck. The first time I did the reset the battery died.After charging again I reset and it’s still just constantly scrolling between old texts and the quick view screen. It seems to be tracking steps and heart rate normally when I wear it. Any ideas?
