I have used several Fitbit devices over the past five years.  I switched to the blaze last July.  This messag is not a complant but I want to share my experience because I have always found your company responsive and active in your willingness to make the product better.  I am a busy teacher and always wear my Fitbit.  I use a screen protector suggested by Fitbit.  I must have hit the corner of the screen on a hard surface and it is now chipped.  It still works but I’m wondering if there is more that could be done to improve the design.  It’s meant to be worn by active people and I did use a screen protector.

Fitbit doesn't offer a screen protector. If you were suggested a screen protector, it was an individuals opinion. Their business model is take your chances or, buy damage warranty if you don't trust yourself. What are the options going forward? It's a touch screen with gorilla glass. Can it really be any tougher? Pretty sure the new Versa is the  same. I've read buying at Best Buy and getting their warranty is an option. I'm pretty active and mine isn't cracked 26 Months in now. Maybe I just haven't hit it the right way?

Again my message was not a complaint. I love your product. I fully recognize the chipped corner was my bad luck. I’m only interested in sharing what happened to me in case it could of helped. The wording of your response makes me wish I hadn’t sent the message.

No harm intended. Sorry if you're offended. It was not my intention. I feel I'm just being blunt.

Hope can can still enjoy your Blaze.
