I have been having the same battery life issues as many posted here, tried all of the pointers, tried to restart but it will not respond to the buttons pushed! Over the past week battery only last less than 8 hours

@Neolaker Welcome! It's nice to have you on board! Sorry to hear that your Blaze's battery is draining quickly and thank you for restarting your device. Since you didn't specify what you have done I would like to suggest you try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves.
