I am on my third blaze after two faults that couldn't be fixed. My third blaze was doing o.k. But then I tried to use the "control music" and "see messages" functions. I could do this on my old blaze that had a faulty heart rate sensor, with my windows phone. I wondered if it was my phone (after trying ALL the possibilities, there was even a glimmer of hope as I did manage to pair it with my phone and the bluetooth classic option appeared in the menu), but it never managed to control the music again like my old blaze had. So I bought a new phone, Android, I managed to pair my phone to my blaze, I managed to control music, but never got it to get message notifications. I was pleased, until yesterday, I tried to get it to work, but nothing. I have done everything, I tried recharging the blaze so the battery was full as I know it doesn't like pairing when the battery is low. I switched it off and on again, nothing. Still no "classic blue tooth" in the settings menu. I tried to get my phone to find the blaze, it couldn't. I am really cheesed off, I love that my blaze does what it does and don't want to give up, I have tried everything, but I am fast going off my blaze and have even started looking elsewhere, I have read forums on the other fitbit devices and there have been a number of glitches with those too, and though I love fitbit, I don't want to invest in another device just to be let down, all I want is a device that I can see my notifications and control my music when I am exercising without having to keep messing with my phone. If anyone has any suggestions, I have read up on the app issues,I have been using the old app when the problem arose as my windows phone apps never updated, so I am not convinced this is an app issue, more of a device issue, it just doesn't like using classic bluetooth, it will use normal bluetooth as syncing works fine. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, but if I can't get a fix (this has been ongoing for a while now and I really thought it was my phone that was the issue, but clearly it isn't) so I need some advice to tell me if this is a problem with the blaze and if so can it be resolved and if not, is it safe to invest in a ionic? Or are they just full or problems too?
Thank you!

Welcome to the Community Forums @catlmouse. I'm sorry for the late response. Thanks for all the steps you've tried so far in order to solve the issue with your Bluetooth Classic on your Blaze. Nice way to go.
While reading your post I was wondering if the mobile device you're syncing with is included in our list of supported devices? You can see the list at: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?
Please keep in mind that when a device is not supported we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance.
I know you may have tried this already, but please let's try these steps in the following order:
1. Remove the Blaze and (if applicable) the old replacements from the Bluetooth settings on your old phone and new one.
2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
3. Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
4. Setup your Blaze as a replacement.
Please note that Bluetooth Classic is strictly for music control. All other functions that require Bluetooth, are performed through Bluetooth Low Energy. Therefore, pairing the Blaze as a new device shouldn't be affected by it. Please try following the suggested steps and let me know if that works.
