Blaze shuts off and now isn't coming back on

I bought my Blaze Wednesday of last week and it started acting up yesterday. First it just wouldn't let me chance the options under the time anymore. I had been able to, but now it just stays on the date and I have to go into the second screen to look at my steps and stats. Last night it didn't record my sleep at all and then it started shutting off and losing sync with my phone repeatedly. Now is has shut off and won't come back on. The last time the phone and device synced up, it was showing the Blaze as having half a charge, so there isn't an expectation of battery issue at this time, but I've tried resetting the device three times as is stated in other posts, and still not working.

Hi, @Aurulma, even if you think your Blaze should be completely charged, I would recommend giving it a couple hours charge (even if you get no response and it doesn't seem to be recharging).  Just charge it as normal (remembering, of course, that a USB port on a computer is unlikely to deliver charge unless the computer is awake.  If you prefer, you can plug it into any UL or CE certified wall charger (such as your cellphone charger) that will accept a USB cable.

Once you are certain it has had a couple of hours charge, try the restart procedure again.  If nothing happens, repeat this twice more (a first reset does not always work).

If after charging and attempting to restart three times your Blaze is still dead/ non responsive / blank, please get in touch with Fitbit Customer Support on contact.fitbit.com.  Be sure to tell them the troubleshooting steps you have already tried, as that will save time.
