Blaze step count

I have been comparing my steps logged on the blaze compared to my phone and to the Alta.  The blaze is running between 2500 and 3000 steps less.  How do I correct this?  It is frustrating when one says I walked 2 1/2 miles and another almost 5.

Same problem here. I have noticed it seems to stop counting when the tracker is syncing. Not sure if that is the complete problem.

Just tried an experiment with the step counter as I did a short walk exercise. I counted my steps and purposefully left out about 20 steps but counted 1,000. The Blaze only gave me credit for 923, that's 77 steps short. I guess they figure you will have to get fit at this rate.
