Blaze stopped charging

Hi all,

yesterday my blaze conked out. i thought it must be battery and tried to charge it in my charger. I left it a good hour and it did not charge. checked orientation and other basic troubleshooting. I popped the blaze in a colleages chager and it charged as normal in there.

Pretty sure this is just a charging issue but before it conked out it twice failed to wake up when i touched the screen. Any ideas? I take it i need a new charger at a minimum.

Thanks,

P

Sounds like it is not making a full contact in your charger. Are any of the pins bent?

Welcome to the Forums @trickapro and @SunsetRunner thanks for stopping by.

I would like to know if you keep having problems with your Blaze battery? If you do, I recommend following the instructions provided in this post.

I hope this helps, let me know how it goes. Woman Happy

I have had the same issue with my Blaze and judging from the forums so have a lot of other people. Had been working fine then one day, wouldn't come on. The reset isn't working and the device appears to be dead. Only purchased a year and a half ago but out of warranty. Called support which says there's nothing they can do but offered to sell me another one at a 25 percent discount. Thanks but no thanks.

It's great to see you around @tammerlindrummo and thanks for the information provided. I recommend taking a look at our warranty policy and also to my previous post and follow the instructions provided there. It is great to hear that you received a 25% discount, can you use it to purchase another Blaze or can you select another device?

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Happy
