Blaze stopped receiving text message and phone calls

I got the blaze for Christmas and the first week I was receiving text messages and phone calls and yesterday my text messages just stopped coming through the blaze, can anyone help?

@Sarah35  Are you getting any notifications?  If not, double check on the Blaze itself that you haven't turned off notifications.  Swipe down from the top of the screen - from there you can choose "ON" or "OFF".

Thank you! That's what it was, I must have switched it off without knowing cause I'm still getting used to everything the blaze can do!

My Blaze dose have notifications turned on, but still do not receive texts or emails. Phone conmes it, but no longer displays the name.
