Blaze stopped syncing with galaxy s4

I managed to get my phone working with the blaze after about a week of trying to sync it. Then the blaze got a firmware update and now doesnt want to sync with the phone. Ive turned everything off and on again, deleted app and reinstalled. When trying to sync the blaze with phone, it just say that the blaze needs to be powered on, which it is, then it asks me about restarting bluetooth. The annoying thing is that in my bluetooth list both the classic and blaze icons appear, and can pair the classic to control music function. So bluetooth is finding it but the app says it cant. I now have to use my android tablet to sync the blaze. Getting really frustrated now. Any suggestions anyone?

I think ive sorted it. I went into the application manager on the phones settings, found bluetooth and cleared the cache data. It synced straight away
