Hi all,
Firstly, I have looked through the forum but cannot find anybody with the issue I currently have.
(There are some similar but not quite the same)
I'm running a Blaze, connected to an iPhone running iOS10 for cycling.
Most of the time I have no issues, but this past Sunday, and once before, the device randomly stops recording and goes back to the home screen. I of course then stop cycling, go back into exercise and select bike and start a new ride, so one activity is then broken up into multiple rides. For example, on Sunday, I rode about 45km, but if you look at my activities, I have one ride of about 25km, then a second ride of about 13km, and another of about 7km.
I can confirm that I have not touched the watch in that time to stop the activity, and also have not noticed that it loses phone connectivity.

Hi there @LurchZA. Good to see you in the Community Forums!
I'm sorry you're having problems with your tracker not recording your exercise sessions appropriately.
What I can think at the moment is that it could be that when you're you're riding your bike, your Blaze is too low on your wrist and it could be pushed against the top of your hand causing the buttons to get pressed without you noticing and pausing/finishing the activity.
I can recommend possibly wearing your tracker a little higher on your wrist the next time you go on a ride and see if that makes any difference.
Let me know if you notice this to happen again!

Hi @FerdinandFitbit,
I tried moving the watch up my arm without success.
On a long ride I did some testing.
I rode 115km, and after approximately 18km, the watch stopped recording. I have a second cellphone for work, and I set that up as a wireless hotspot connecting the phone the Blaze is connected to, and the rest of the ride was tracked successfully (with the exception of me stopping it, but that was 100% my fault - I stopped it instead of pausing while waiting for some other cyclists).
The phones use different mobile networks, so I'm wondering if it is not possible that I am intermittently losing connectivity and the watch is then thinking the activity has stopped? I presume that the GPS is backed up by the mobile network, whether connectivity or mobile data?

Have you thought about shut down the blaze tracker? It is probably frozen and that it is not communicating in Bluetooth.

Mobike network for me is not needed for the GPS to work.

Hi I'm having the same problem. I use my blaze to track my runs but it looks like I've done 3 runs as it just stops for no reason.
please has anyone any ideas. It's really disheartening as I'm only just learning to run, I can see if I'm improving as the run is never whole.
many thanks

My Blaze 'reboots' during my run about 15 minutes after I start. It started occurring about 5 days ago. I have done a shutdown, but it shutdown my next run.
