Blaze stuck on the fitbit logo

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
Hopefully someone can give me some advice.
I received my blaze a couple of days ago and set up fine, it has been working since. Today it is stuck on the fitbit logo and flashes every 20-30 second or so. I have tried turning it off and the screen goes black for a split second then continues to be stuck on the fitbit logo. Any help please. Thanks

I have had no issues until tonight with my Blaze.  What makes it put the icon on the screen (looks like multiple stuck together) and only flash but not be able to be reset?  i have tried all the things I have seen in the previous posts.

Hi there @MzBKY. Good to see you in the Forums!

If you see the icon on the screen multiple times and you've already tried to press the left and lower right buttons for a while and it doesn't restart, feel free to get in touch with the Support Team. They will be able to get you back on track as there's not much else you can do from your end in that situation.

Let me know if you need more help with this!

Thank you. I did end up calling support Sunday. The gentleman said it was
a defect and that since I had only had it since June 16 they would expedite
a replacement of the device and while he was talking the email came through
with 2 day expedited shipping in it. He was very nice but the shippers
didn't get that memo because it won't arrive to me until Saturday per the
tracking app. I will be on vacation so just a lot disappointed but not
with how Fitbit handled it. I appreciate the effort.

Just happened to me as well, frozen with logo blinking every 5 seconds. Reset doesn't work. Customer support has no solution other than either trying to reset it or return it to where you got it for a replacement. What is the problem here? Can't fitbit do a software update to remedy this? I'm seeing posts on here that this has been happening for the whole year and yet still no solution from Fitbit??? Why would I return it and get a replacement watch if you haven't solved the problem. What do we do, wait until it happens again when maybe the watch goes out of warranty and then we're stuck with the bill of having to buy a new one? This is unacceptable on the part of the company. I think we need to hear that there is a solution, update or that this issue has been fixed in the newer watches being made now.

My Blaze was stuck in an update and all other places it says to hold the left upper and lower to reset. Your's was the only thing that worked. Thank you.

If all else fails let the battery drain then you should be able to hit just the left single button (often called the back button which confused me at first looking for a button on the back of it).  Once it is dead and hitting the left button shows the dead battery button and shuts off place in the freezer for about an hour.  When you pull it out put back into your charger.  If you see a temp pic that is your first sign that it may still work.  Let it charge in the charger after that until the screen comes on.  I had this idea as I have had luck restoring data from damaged hard drives after freezing them.  This worked for me and hopefully can help someone else out there.

Update: I got it to charge and sync and it did the flashing logo again about a hour after I wrote my last post.  I froze it again in the freezer for 15 minutes fully changed and then found I was not getting the flashing logo but was getting a error regarding the clock face type.  I changed the face type and synced again and am working for the moment.  I am interested if others who had the problem were using the clock interface Argyle when they had the problem.  Sorry I am just a nerd and curious, not sure if the freeze fixed long term so will update if I see or figure out anything else.

Update 2:  So some interesting results, it has nothing to do with the clock interface though it gives you that error if in the freezer for 15 min or so and you have to resync to get it to go away.  I can duplicate the flashing fitbit logo if I shutdown or if I change the bluetooth setting from classic to on and have to place back in the freezer to bring it back to a working state.  I also in testing found that it has problems syncing and only syncs consistently right after I take it out of the freezer (really strange).  Today I am turning off bluetooth on my phone and just seeing if the watch will work all day without the issue.

I tried holding LH button and the Bottom RH button simultaneously for few seconds until screen flashed once and then fitbit blaze vibrated once and restarted. Problem solved 🙂

What caused me this situation is that I did shutdown my blaze as the battery was low and directly plugged it into charging dock then the blaze stuck on logo and wasn't charging too.

I received a new fitbit blaze today and when I tried to charge it, it wouldn't do anything but try and do an update, which it's stuck on.  Tried several things with customer support but nothing worked so they're sending me a new one.  The lady I spoke to was really helpful and she did all she could but to no avail

This happened when attempting to choose a new clock face. The logo stayed on and would flash off for about a second. I attempted the Left button Right lower button hold to shut off and restart but did not work. After over an hour was ready to contact customer service. Then thought maybe setting it in charger would turn it off. I placed it into the charging cradle and it eventually shut off. Took it out and it restarted with Error message stating choose new clock face. Followed through and got the new clock face. Works fine again.

My blaze got stuck on start screen and just kept restarting.  I tried downloading fitbit app to update and also reset the watch, both didn't work.  I then called customer service and they were not able to fix.  Since my watch is over a year old (15 months), they were unwilling to replace and offered me 25% off a new one.  I'll take a hard pass and just buy a cheaper watch that will work longer than a year.  Reading through a lot of forums, this seems to be a common problem.  I would really recommend evaluating other products before buying a FitBit.
