Blaze suddenly doubling the distance walked

Hi. I have recently been walking a measured 5km route. My Blaze tells me it is 6.4miles which is actually 10km! What can I do to ensure accuracy as I will not know how far I have walked on a non measured outing?

I can't help with the doubling but suggest changing the Blaze to count in KMs instead of miles.

This may be done under the users settings on the app or web.
