Blaze suddenly miscalculating Floors climbed

I've had NO trouble with my Blaze since I purchased it in July 2016. I walk and use the GPS each time...and all calculations seem to be accurate -- until this morning. Visiting Sugar Land, TX and walking on FLAT streets every morning for four (4) days; but today, it reflected I walked a whopping 24 floors! No way, no how...what in the world? Anybody able to give me reasoning for this mishap?

@Scarlettann  Was there a change in the weather?  Changes in the barometric pressure (like an approaching storm) will give "false" readings.  This could be why that happened to you.

I was thinking the same, but in Texus? 

If the floors continue, try a shutdown through the settings screen.

I live in Southern CA. Visiting Texas. Other than the addition of horrid humidity vs. dry heat in CA, I'm on flat surfaces. But, this did not happen the past three days...just started after my 3-mile walk this morning. I will try the shutdown if it happens again tomorrow. Thanks!

Hello @Scarlettann Your tracker may give you credit for extra floors for a variety of reasons. Occasionally your tracker may detect pressure changes unrelated to elevation gains, such as a gust of wind, weather change, or opening a door. Exposure to excess moisture can also result in extra floors being counted. Let me know if you continue to experience this issue with your floors after the advise from @Rich_Laue. @Kmransom123  thanks for your cooperation! 🙂
