Blaze tracking wrong mileage

The past couple of days my blaze has been syncing the wrong mileage to the app on my phone. Both days I've run on the treadmill and hiked 2 miles. It comes up as that on the watch when I'm done but once I sync to the app it says I've only done 1.08 miles for the treadmill run and 1.20 miles for the hike. Why is this happening and is there a way to fix it?

It may be related to your stride length.  It's not calcuting actual distance - it's calculating steps taken by stride. You can adjust your stride length on your profile.

On the treadmill, before starting a run or walk, press the settings and turn iff the GPS.

If you don't turn the GPS off, then the Blaze will use the GPS to figure the distance and not your stride. GPS will not work when standing still or while inside.
