Blaze treadmill accuracy? treadmill and blaze record different numbers?

hi! ive been running for 3 miles a day 5 days a week for about 3 weeks.The treadmill itself says i ran 3-3.5 miles. when i sync the workout to my phone, the workout on the app increases what the treadmill says i ran by usually  1 mile - 1.5 mile. am i running 3 miles or 4 miles? all help would be really appreciated! thanks!!!!

I'm having the same issue.  Treadmill stated 3 miles but Fitbit states 1.55.  Very frustrating.

Yeah, I've been a long-time runner and have experienced this from time to time. Oddly enough, i wasnt sure if it was the treadmill or if it was the fitbit at fault. I was dealing with this issue for a few months. Ended up grabbing a new treadmill. fixed my issues. 

I wanted to make sure i grabbed a new treadmill that was accurate. That was important to me. I found this site here that talked about some of the best selling models. If interested, take a look here.

Thanks for your help!! but unfortunatley im not looking for a tread mill because I use multiple gyms. I need to know which is recording my distance corectly? the fitbit or the treadmill?

Sure, well - Based on the information you provided, its virtually impossible for me to give you an answer. What I ended up doing was taking the lesser of either. So, if the treadmill says 3 mi, but the fitbit says something like 4.5, I'll assume 3.

haha thanks its okay its not your fault! i would just expect accuracy from a 200 dollar fitness tracker you know?

i just reread your reply and if you got an acurate treadmill, and your fit bit became almost in sinc with your tread mill, would that mean that the treadmill im using under estimates my distance?
