Blaze turning off during workout

My Fitbit Blaze keeps turning itself off during my workouts. I wear it under my boxing gloves, check my heart rate at the start of a round on the bag or pads, and when I check it at the end of the round it’s turned itself off? Anyone ever experienced any similar issues?

Hi there @PSimmo. Great to have you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

That's very strange... I'd like to know... Does this only happen when you're boxing or do you notice this happening also while you're regularly wearing your tracker?  It could be that while the tracker is inside your boxing gloves, it could be pressed by them and this will cause your tracker to finish accidentally an the tracking activity if you keep track of this activity but other than that, there's no reason why your Blaze should be turned off.

Have you tried by any chance restarting your Blaze? If not, you can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.

Try that out and keep an eye on it and let me know how it goes!

this issue happens to my really often, during a run or during a bike ride, I don't wear anything around the Blaze. and suddenly in a mid of the workout i look to see de progress, HR or whatever it should display and it on the watch mode, it is annoying because i have to restart the work out and i end up with 2 or more workouts logs, for a single run, thanks to that error I have to restart de workout every time that i notice that it went out of the workout mode.

My Blaze keeps ending my work outs while I am running. Usually when I hit an even Mile, It has happened after mile one, mile two. Went for three miles then did it once after the 3rd mile. Today it did it twice while trying to run 4 miles. After 1 it ending my run then I turned it back on run and it ended that mile after it hit 1 mile, but then I turned the run back on again and it let me finish two miles without trouble.

If I reset it like you show below will that keep all my steps I have for today or will it delete those and those will just be gone?

Hi

All your data for the day should still be on there after the reset. I’m pretty sure all mine was after I did this. Sync it with your phone just before you reset to be on the safe side tho 👍

I am having a similar issue. Two weeks I went out for a run and my Blaze restarted itself around mile 1.5 and I had to restart my run. It did it again today, at mile 2.82 of a three mile run. Is there anyway to fix this? This is in addition to my issues having it stayed synced to my phone's GPS for the entire run. It's getting to be really frustrating.

My Sense Fitbit turns off during my workout.  I wear wrist weights and it must hit the button on the side and turns it off.  Is there a way to lock the screen so it will stop doing that?  My workouts are not being recorded accurately and it is driving me nuts!!  PLEASE HELP!!
