Blaze turning off whilst in pocket

Hey,

There are time where I can't have anything on my wrist, so I have to pop the blaze out of it's strap and put it in my pocket.

It'll work and track my steps for a while, but the last coupe of days I've gone to check it, and found that it's turned off. I have to hold a button, the fitbit logo come on and it's back on again. Whilst it's off it tracks no steps.

Is there an auto off 'feature' if it doens't detect a pulse or something that could be causing this? If so how do I disable it?

Thanks!

I wonder if the Quick View feature is causing an issue?

It's possible that the screen is waking up, and contact with the skin on your thigh is swiping the screen and shutting it off.

Unlikely, but possible. I would try disabling Quick View for a bit and see if the behavior stops.

@CliffinKent, while there is an auto off for the heart rate, thereis no auto off for the tracker.

There is a manual off, swipe to settings, tap, swipe up to shutdown,  tap, then tap confirm.

After  the tracker is turned back on the time should be off, if it isn't off by much the tracker only turned off recently.

My thought, static electricity, could be from the movement of the tracker while in the pocket, or tge build up of static on the body. Try touching some grounded metal before reaching into the pocket next time. Even touching a metal doorknob or desk should help, or the screw, if unpainted, holding the outlet cover on wiuld work.
