Blaze turns off after being unplugged despite being fully charged

My blaze is on and fully working whilst on its charging dock. The moment it is unplugged it shuts off and won't turn back on. It is fully charged. How do I fix this?

Hi Ben,

I had the same problem, I just got off with tech support about it and they just said to do the basics which was:

1. Try resetting the device (press and hold the left and bottom right buttons until you see the fitbit logo).

This didn't work for me because the device was completely unresponsive outside of the charging case

2. Use and old toothbrush or soft brush to clean the actual charging connections with rubbing alcohol (if you don't  have rubbing alcohol a substitution I found online was acetone free nail polish remover, the Tech Support guy said that it may be to strong and recommended wet wipes) then dry thoroughly with a cloth.

This still did nothing for me since it wasn't an issue with the connection and it had already been cleaned

3. Try another USB port/ wall connection and ensure that it is properly connected (cable isn't lose, turned on, working socket etc.)

Again this didn't really do anything but it was worth trying on his end...

With the steps he went through he was trying to get the fitbit to vibrate then display the logo etc. etc. like it is supposed to but since it didn't he just gave me a replacement offer and now I'm getting the new Charge 4. I was surprised he offered the replacement (not sure if he was supposed to, don't get mad if your Tech Support doesn't) considering that I received the fitbit as a Christmas present in 2017 and the warranty is long since expired. Anyway hoped this helped, just try the things I listed before and get in contact with someone (might take a while since the support is limited) worse case you'll get a replacement offer or 50% off a new device.

Thanks for your response. None if that works unfortunately. It's really
old and was a hand me down so I won't be to upset if it doesn't work. Thank
you for your help

Hey this is happening to me too. I sent an email to tech support. Maybe this is an issue with the device itself. Perhaps the battery was made faulty. Seems to be a common issue.

Same for me. I think i will make it so that i can push the buttons in the charger and use it as a verry small wall clock or somthing.
