Hi, just got a blaze from a charge hr I've been suspicious it hasn't been accurately recording steps. All my data is accurate and I've reset the device a few times as see on other posts but it is still doing it. It is missing about 50% of my steps. I'm considering taking it back for a refund but really would prefer to resolve the issue. Any ideas?

A warm welcome to the Community @Moogee. Thanks for troubleshooting this inconvenience by yourself. I recommend restarting your Blaze a couple of times more and also check if your stride length information is updated.
To measure your stride length do the following:
To adjust your stride length from a computer, click the gear icon in the top right and go to Settings > Personal Info. The stride length fields are in the Body Info section. If you use the Fitbit mobile app, go into the app and turn off Set Automatically under the Stride Length setting.
I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. ![]()
Best AnswerMake sure you set the dominant/non domiant hand.

I found using my non-dom better
Best AnswerMy blaze is only about 2 weeks old and it is undercounting my steps by about 30-40% quite consistently. I have reset it three times and it is set for and on my non dominant wrist. I am not concerned about the stride length. Can you tell me if this is a problem with my device or the software? And how I can fix it? Thank you.
Best AnswerI just got back from Ireland. My husband wore my Charge HR because I bought a Blaze a few months ago. Not only did I take every step my husband took; I did a lot more walking, because he often rests while I explore things. Every day, my step count was thousands of steps lower than his. I was suspicious of the Blaze before this trip; now it is documented as severly undercounting. Very unhappy with this Fitbit.
Best Answer@AlejandraFitbit Hi! Could you please explain how and why a different stride length will make the STEP COUNT more accurate. I still don't understand.
Best Answer@KerryKay have you done a simple walk test?
Put your tracker into its tracking mode
Start on the left goot snd count every right step up to 100.
You have taken 200 steps
What does the tracker say?
