Why does it show online that the Fitbit Blaze is water resistant when its actually not? Mine has died due to wearing it in the hot tub, is it still under warranty as when looking online it shows that it is water resistant up to 25 meters, I can assure you I was not 25 meters in the hot tub.

Can you link to where it shows as being water resistant to 25 minutes as the documentation I've seen says:

"All Fitbit trackers and watches are water-resistant, which means they are rain-proof and splash-proof and can stand up to even the sweatiest workout. You can swim or shower with select Fitbit devices.

Device            Water Resistance

Fitbit Flex 2
Fitbit Ionic
Fitbit Versa
Swim-proof (up to 50 meters)
Fitbit AceShower-proof (don't swim with Ace)

taken from: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1598/

If there is fitbit documentation that says the Blaze is up to 25m then we need to get fitbit to correct it.

I know that a company called waterfi sells waterproofed fitbits but these are not covered by fitbit's warranty.

When you buy not online, you have the box only. And the box says "Water resistant". Nothing about depth, time, splash, rain or sweat in the included book. That being said. I would like to see my blaze being "Water resistant".

Just to clarify, Check out your box on the side with the wrest size meter. No star no conditions. Just "Water resistant".

My blaze stopped functioning after it was wet in rain showers.

Now the display is limited to .... 2 red lines showing low battery, even when it is fully charged.

It's ok when put in charging cable. Stopps working once charging is taken off...

I've seen this too. My blaze is new.  Went for a swim and screen is dark even though app says it's fully charged. When I put it on charger it alight but when I take it off the charger...nada.

Please help. I got this and its helped my health tremendously so far. I need it. Repair? Price?

@MomCu2 I fear your Blaze may be damaged beyond repair. It is not waterproof and should not be worn in the shower or when swimming. See: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1598.htm Charging it when wet may have made matters worse.

I would put it into a sealed bag of dry rice for a day or two to draw out any remaining water. Then try charging again (with your fingers crossed!)
