I'm sure this question has been asked before but just how water resistant is the Blaze? I know swimming is not an option, but one of these days I'm going to forget to take it off before showering and realize i have it on after a few seconds.(I've done it with my glasses.) will it kill the tracker? Or does a little water not hurt?

Fitbit recommend that you do not wear it showering.  However, most of us have accidentally got in the shower once or twice having forgotten to take it off.  So far my Fitbits have survived...

It's great to see you here @Spongie and @Julia_G thanks for stopping by and the information provided.

As mentioned, the Blaze is water-resistant, which means it is rain proof and splash proof and can stand up to even the sweatiest workout. Do not swim or shower with your Blaze since the only tracker that have this feature are the following:

  • The Fitbit Flex 2 is swim and shower proof.
  • The Fitbit Alta is shower proof.

I’ve dunked and waded in water and even swam with all of my fitbits and none have been damaged from it. I went 13ft deep with my charge 2 as well and it survived very well.
