Blaze will no longer sync - solution.

I want to be able to change my Blaze watch face, and also sync the time, but it will not do it consistently. I use the bluetooth feature to sync. And no luck most of the time. I gave up, until in desperation, I thought, why not use the hard wire sync by itself, without bluetooth? I have done using both simultaneously and it did not work. Here's my solution:

1. Shutdown bluetooth in both my laptop and on the Blaze watch itself.

2. Connect the Blaze to the laptop on the USB. NO BLUETOOTH!

3. Do your sync.

It worked for me.

Happy fitbitting.

I posted this solution on another thread and some reported that it worked. I hope it does for you too.

The blaze when not restarted for a long time, I believe it runs a few algorithms on the background without us seeing this, and these extra algos will consume the battery.

How do you stop these ghost algos (short for algorithms)? By doing a Blaze reboot.

How do you reboot?

Two ways:

1. on your blaze watch, go to settings and shutdown the watch. OR...

2. press down the lower right button and the left button simultaneously, and hold until the watch will restart by showing the fitbit logo. Holding the button takes a few seconds, be patient. Wait for the fitbit logo to show up, meaning reboot.

3. Do a reboot before charging your blaze.

Happy fitbitting.
